Overview:
Immanuel Communities is seeking a Assistant Retirement Living Consultant to work at Copper Shores Village located at 1500 Edgewater Drive, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327. Copper Shores Village has 67 independent living apartments, 38 assisted living apartments and 14 memory support apartments. Located right next to Copper Creek Lake.
Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required:
What You Will Do
The overall purpose of this job is to serve as the backup to the Retirement Living Consultant and contribute to meeting or exceeding community occupancy by working as a team to network, market and follow the Immanuel sales process with prospective residents and/or their families. The responsibilities of this job also include professionally representing Immanuel Communities in outreach to referral sources to build community awareness and relationships.

Sales Process | - Follows the Immanuel sales process to build a relationship with prospects that develops a level of trust and eventually leads to closing the sale.
- Makes personal visits and holds phone and in-person conversations to assist prospects with solutions to housing needs.
- Enters data on a daily basis to produce weekly and monthly activity reports in order to uphold the integrity of the sales database.
- Assures the occupancy goals are met or exceeded.
- Collaborates with Senior Living Consultants to develop strategies that build unique relationships with each prospect, and streamline the process of initiating reservations in a shorter timeframe.
- Responsible for on-site presence on Saturdays to lead walk-in tours and attend to sales inquiries via phone calls.

Marketing | - Executes lead generation strategies by calling on referral sources and developing relationships in surrounding community.
- Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the database, including data clean up and documenting follow up actions in database.
- Assists in organizing and implementing community events targeted towards referral sources and potential prospects.
- Uses key message points in presentations and at events to build relationships and promote the Immanuel brand and reputation.
- Organizes events to engage and integrate individuals from the waiting list into the community.
- Responsible for overseeing the evaluation of sales and marketing materials within the community, ensuring regular audits are conducted to determine if additional resources are required.

Networking | - Devise and implement marketing strategies to promote Immanuel to local organizations, churches, medical offices, and other relevant entities, with the goal of enhancing brand awareness and expanding the market reach.
- Actively participate in civic, community, and religious groups with the goal of maximizing opportunities to educate, promote, and coordinate events that highlight Immanuel and senior living.
- Joins and participates in local senior services organizations that will facilitate understanding the competition in the market.

Skills & Requirements
Associates degree in marketing, communication, public relations, or a related field.
One (1) year of experience in building and managing relationships in consultative sales, public relations or related industry is required.
