Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred OR combined education and work experience. Master's degree preferred.
Licensure: N/A
Certification: N/A
Experience: 2+ years of experience in Analytics role, preferred. Previous experience as an analyst preferred. Exposure to financial and operational data, medical records, and information management systems preferred.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inform multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Looker, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with data platforms like such as Snowflake or Databricks is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R is preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and security best practices preferred.
Essential Job Functions
- Data Capture and Provisioning
- Collect, validate, and maintain data from multiple sources.
- Serve as a data strategist to identify and integrate new datasets that can be leveraged through our framework.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively understand and query large databases.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data for organizational decision-making.
- Design and implement both one-time and continuous data analysis processes.
- Relate captured data to organizational processes and workflows.
- Optimize data collections processes and drive improvements in data governance and quality control.
- Actively monitor and contain cloud resource utilization and expense through code efficiencies and deploying optimal solutions.
- Data Analysis, Business Intelligence (BI), and Visualization
- Evaluate and analyze data for trends, variances, and opportunities with clear objectives in mind to support key initiatives and decision-making.
- Create meaningful reports, dashboards, and scorecards tracking key quality performance indicators (KPIs).
- Use data visualization, analysis and automation tools to uncover technical findings and translate them into actionable insights for key stakeholders.
- Exercise creativity and initiative in solving complex problems.
- Provide education on and drive adoption of self-service analytics tools and data strategies.
- Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership, clinicians, and data professionals, to design and implement data-driven solutions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to address evolving healthcare information needs.
- Contribute to the design of enterprise dashboards which display company metrics with interactive, multi-dimensional visualization enabling stakeholder decision-making.
- Promote data literacy and a self-service approach to data, enabling stakeholders to access information they need.
- Participate in multiple projects supporting organizational objectives using project management and process improvement skills.
- Provide data support and feedback for various initiatives, including ongoing metrics and dashboards, performance improvement efforts, and business case analysis.
