HBL is looking for an Inventory Analyst who will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient operations and minimize costs. This role involves analyzing inventory data, forecasting demand, monitoring stock levels, and collaborating with various teams to implement effective inventory management strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to monitor lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules
  • Manage Import shipments
  • Maintain and manage Cargoes Flows
  • Inventory control procedures, such as cycle counting, to ensure data accuracy
  • Generate reports on inventory performance, including stock levels, turnover, and forecast accuracy
  • Maintain all Operations tracking spreadsheets
  • Create and maintain price lists
  • Complete SKU maintenance
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to forecast demand accurately
  • Conduct inventory analysis to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate action, such as markdowns or write-offs
  • Develop and implement inventory replenishment strategies while monitoring inventory levels to identify potential stock shortages or excesses for product availability
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide insights on inventory-related matters
  • Provide reliable ETA’s for product arrival to cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory counts and smooth logistics operations
  • Enter and manage stock purchase orders
  • Act as the HBL representative communicating with factories on discrepancies and order details
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalence or 4 years’ experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, or related analytical role
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory control principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with both factories and cross-functional teams 
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with some or all the following applications a plus: Sage, Sage CRM, CIMCloud, Cargoes Flows, and/or Google 360 Showroom
  • Experience with managing client/vendor relationships
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Practical knowledge of lighting industry a plus
