Compensation will be contingent on experience and can range from $100,000 to $125,000 based on performance
Base salary of $55,000 to $65,000
Monthly commission on total company sales with uncapped potential
Annual bonus based on achieving full year sales targets

Position: Director of Sales Our Mission at Mighty Dog Roofing of Greater Chattanooga is to be the exterior expert and trusted home advisor for our clients with our roofing, gutter, siding, and window solutions for both residential and commercial applications. Our relationships with our partners allow us to give our client’s the most robust warranties and maintenance programs to ensure a long-lasting exterior solution each and every time we complete a project. We are looking for a dynamic Director of Sales who can blend strong leadership attributes with sales expertise and operational excellence while working for the Owners of the company. The Director of Sales will have responsibility for the Outside Sales team, the Inside Sales & Marketing Manager, and the Production Manager. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Owners on the go-to-market sales, marketing, operations, distribution, and sub-contractor strategies
Execute weekly, monthly, and annual sales and sales and profitability targets set by the Owners
Recruit, hire, and train the sales team, fostering a competitive, process focused, and goal-oriented culture
Create and execute a comprehensive sales training program that equips your team with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel
Develop and implement repeatable policies and procedures, streamlining operations and creating a more sales-friendly environment
Generate sustainable revenue and build lasting relationships by expanding our customer base with both residential and commercial clients by targeting home owners, real estate agents, insurance agents, property managers, HOA’s, builders, etc.
Engage in business development and networking, identifying potential clients and forging new connections by attending Chamber of Commerce events, BNI meetings, Trade Shows, etc.
Maintain 5-star reviews on Google and other platforms, leveraging customer satisfaction to drive more referrals and lead opportunities
Hold weekly one-on-one meetings with owners, providing insights on key performance indicators with recommendations for further growth and improvements
Ensure project budgets and timeframes are met, keeping an eye on the bottom line while capitalizing on upsell opportunities.
Maintain communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle, continuously building trust and demonstrating value
Pay meticulous attention to detail and execute standard processes for each project, overseeing the project production process from inception to completion including final payment
Ensure quality control by reviewing approved projects, ensuring that they are market-ready and primed for conversion
Manage project materials by placing orders and coordinating deliveries while negotiating favorable terms with suppliers
Schedule projects with customers and subcontractors, employing your persuasive abilities to keep clients engaged and informed
Supervise on-site roofing replacement and repair projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and delivering excellent customer service while skillfully handling objections
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required; college business degree preferred
Valid driver’s license
Outside sales experience w/ lead generation
3 years of supervisor or management experience
CRM (or equivalent) experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to plan and organize
Exterior or roofing sales or contracting experience preferred, but not required
Spanish language skills are preferred, but not required
Work Environment & Physical Demands: The Mighty Dog Roofing Director of Sales will be responsible for a variety of both on-site projects and office-related tasks. The Director of Sales will be required to climb a ladder and conduct assessments and measurements on residential and commercial roofs as part of training and development of the sales and production teams.
