MEAT CUTTER- Torrington Main Street Market

Main Street Market, a leading retail grocery store in Torrington, Wyoming is seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join the Legacy team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat products for our customers.

Applicants must be at least 19 years old.  The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years of experience in meat cutting, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  This is a full-time position with competitive pay, and benefits, including a defined pension plan, PTO, and holiday pay!

Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat products according to customer specifications
- Ensure all meat products are of high quality and meet food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and their preparation methods
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Food handling and safety certification is a plus
