Precision Agriculture Specialist - Scottsbluff, NE

Legacy Coop has an opening for a Precision Agriculture Specialist in the Scottsbluff, Nebraska area.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to complete the required job functions.

TASKS:  (Includ but not limited to)
•    Applies Precision Agriculture system analysis techniques and procedures to field plans
•    Facilitates meetings with growers to explain the benefits of Precision Agriculture systems to their operations
•    Consults with growers to determine hardware and software specifications for their unique needs
•    Tests and modifies programs based on grower needs
•    Maintains orderly and comprehensive records for this function
•    Continues ongoing computer education and learning new cutting-edge applications in Precision Agriculture
•    Other duties may be assigned. 

EDUCATION:  Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; ability to travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Must have valid drivers license that meets MVR standards of company. Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification is preferred. Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Veris Precision Ag, and SST.  Knowledge of sales and marketing, mathematics, computers and electronics, English Language, customer and personnel service, and administration.
