Role Snapshot:

Working in any position in a healthcare setting has its challenges. This is where the Life Path Assistant on our East Campus gets to shine! You will be in the unique position to bring joy and purpose to our residents with everyday activities built around what each individual wants - not just a large group of everyone being forced to attend the same event. Your day will include opportunities to help get residents ready for the day so they can fully-participate in the quality of life they deserve. In this role you will be in a unique position to positively impact someone’s life in a variety of ways such as:

  • Adaptive cycling, archery, rock-climbing
  • Jet-skiing, kayaking, sailing, boating, swimming
  • Hunting, fishing, horseback riding
  • Wheelchair sports, bowling, rugby
  • Assist residents with expressing themselves through art, music and more
  • As a C.N.A., you would provide assistance with ADL’s or other recreational activities

Education and Certifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old (required)
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. (preferred)
  • Certified as a Nursing Assistant (required). We will provide PAID certification training, for the right candidate.
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license

Flu Considerations: Must commit to receiving annual flu vaccination

 

Schedule: Full-time; includes one weekend day shift
