Nebraska Cancer Specialists is the regional leader in cancer diagnosis, treatment and research.   We are seeking a Medical Assistant Manager to lead and oversee our dedicated, inspiring and caring medical assistant team.

Responsibilities:     

• Coordinates training of new staff to the department.    
• Delegates tasks to team members appropriately.
• Identifies workflows and processes for the medical assistant role. Ensures processes are streamlined and being followed at all locations. 
• Collaborates with managers and directors in other departments to ensure workflows are meeting the needs of all departments.
• Develops staff by mentoring, providing feedback, addressing performance issues and developing action plans. 
• Provides guidance to the team regarding patient care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required, Bachelors in Management is preferred.
• Experience in a health care setting and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. 
• Experience as CNA or CMA preferred.
