Job Title: Region Manager Trainee – CBUSA
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 (+ additional bonus opportunities)

The job:
The CBUSA Region Manager Trainee will be responsible for managing existing trusted partner relationships and for developing new relationships with custom and independent builders, manufacturers, distributors, and vendors in the assigned markets. In addition, responsible for the recruitment of new builder members within the region assigned that will support continued growth for the company. Manage all National Contracts to include customer service, conversion management, reporting, and compliance tracking within the region.
What you will do:
- Contract Administration:
- Work with CBUSA Operations and Purchasing teams, factory/manufacturers reps, and local suppliers/ contractors to manage existing and develop new supply relationships to support builder members.\
- Responsible for customer contact with builder members having conversion issues and coordinating with appropriate CBUSA personnel and manufacturer reps to get them resolved.
- Communicate to CBUSA Operations team any systemic issues that need to be communicated to the network during general membership meetings.
- Vendor and Builder Recruitment:
- Coordinate with Operations and Marketing all efforts to grow the network through recruiting new vendors and builders.
- Conduct meaningful, monthly membership meetings in each market throughout region.
- Provide ongoing customer support for new and existing builder and vendor members.
- Program Implementation:
- Develop a vision for each specific market with a focus on what’s best for each customer.
- Under the Vice President Purchasing’s guidance, prepare and execute specific purchasing and supply programs targeted at saving members money on their cost of goods.
- Manage necessary data from builder members to prepare bid requests from preferred suppliers.
- Oversee the compliance of specific purchasing agreements and resolve issues as required.
- Reporting:
- Ensure 100% reporting quarterly for the builders/vendors in the region.
- Serve as management contact for builder/vendor members having reporting questions.
- Customer Management:
- Invest actively in and provide ongoing support to member relationships with all builders, manufacturer, and vendor members in the region.
- Develop and communicate best practices within assigned region and throughout the company.
- Submit regular correspondence via email to region members to communicate upcoming meetings, new programs, new members, deadlines, and other opportunities.
Who you are and what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related-field required.
- Experience in account management, region management and/or sales is preferred.
- Experience in residential homebuilding, building material sales, and/or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, analytical mindset, consultative selling approach.
- Possess strong customer service tendencies.
- Competent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and efficient in email and internet applications.
- Demonstrate problem solving and people skills.
- Maintain strong public speaking skills and comfortable presenting to medium size groups.
- Possess high accuracy in work and great attention to detail.
