Job Summary

We are seeking a VP of Product Capability who will lead one of the organizations product capability teams and be responsible for developing the vision and strategies to evolve key capabilities required to deliver on the organizations product strategies. You will be asked to ensure the team has a deep understanding of key stakeholder needs through continuous discovery, identification and solution of technology application gaps, and generation of new ideas that increase user satisfaction and drive efficiencies. Oversee all life cycle stages and roadmaps for technology applications in our accounting and money movement processes from ideation through sunset.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Product Capability Leadership

  • Lead and contribute to the capabilities required to deliver accounting and money movement capabilities that enable the organization to serve the market.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management Team to transform our strategies into a roadmap that informs and steers accounting and money movement capabilities and delivers organizational priorities.
  • Proactively collaborate with leadership of product management, business process and support, user experience, accounting, finance, and training teams to ensure effective coordination, development, and consistent delivery of business solutions.
  • Provide leadership resulting in sound business ownership of business systems using best practices in product management activities commonly used in an Agile and LEAN environment.

Systems Development and Support Leadership

  • Assist, as needed, in building out project recommendations and effectively prioritize competing demands based on the value of work to be done.
  • Responsible for the oversight of all business solutions with significant dependencies (data integration and/or process) across solutions.
  • Proactively collaborate with Business Technology leadership and key business stakeholders to coordinate business solutions needs.
  • Facilitate stakeholder sessions to gain feedback on the value of requests.

Change Management Leadership

  • Lead and support change management activities to assure successful user transition, adoption, and maximized derived value.
  • Assure team uses a consistent approach to business processes and procedures.

Leadership Duties

  • Develop and maintain the resources to effectively deliver business solutions and increase operational effectiveness.
  • Build competency in product management skills using Agile and LEAN methodologies and ensure a consistent application of practice and use of supporting tools.

Education Requirements

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree Minimum inBusiness Administration, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Graduate Degree Preferred inBusiness Administration

Years of Experience

  • 8+ years related experience in Product Development, Accounting and General Ledger Reconciliation, Researching, Analyzing and/or Developing solutions including technology systems, with experience working in an agile and LEAN environment preferred. Previous leadership experience is preferred.
