The Psychology Department at Nebraska Medicine is recruiting a full-time licensed (or license eligible) clinical psychologist to join our dynamic, collaborative and growing psychology service. Primary responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient evaluation, consultation, and treatment for patients from several multidisciplinary teams within the hospital, including Bariatric Surgery, Transplantation Services, Oncology, Psychiatry and Primary Care. In addition, there are opportunities for research, teaching, and supervision of psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows. The Psychology Department has 10 full-time clinical psychologists and is on the main campus of Nebraska Medicine, which is the teaching hospital for the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the largest healthcare facility and only public academic health science center in Nebraska.

Duties: Clinical Psychologist
Provide evidence-based psychological services (e.g., evaluation, diagnosis, consultation and treatment) to patients within the organization and affiliated institutions using a biopsychosocial approach in concert with other members of the patient's health care team for the purpose of preventing or eliminating symptomatic, maladaptive, or undesired behavior and/or facilitating adaptation to physical illness, accident, or injury.
Required Qualifications: Clinical Psychologist
* Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited OR equivalent doctoral program with an APA/CPA accredited OR equivalent doctoral internship required.
* Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.
* Independent problem-solving skills and self-directed work experience required.
* Licensed or license-eligible as a Clinical Psychologist in the State of Nebraska, or provisionally licensed in the state of Nebraska with the ability to obtain a license in 24 months required.
