The Family Practice Residency Program is a three year program. The goal of the residency program is to produce highly skilled family physicians with the intellectual and clinical tools to practice family medicine in a variety of urban and rural settings.
Provide quality health care to Clarkson Family Medicine patients. Participate in formal education and educational activities within the hospital and residency. Develop self-learning habits to assist in education and patient care. Assist in patient care for selected volunteer faculty on the staff and other hospitals utilized in the residency-training program.
Graduate of medical school in the United States and Canada accredited by the Liasion Committee on Medical Education (LCME) required. or Graduate of medical school in the United States and Canada accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) required. or Graduate of medical school outside the United States and Canada who have received a currently valid certificate from the Education Commission for Foreign Medical graduates (ECFMG) required. Basic Life Support required.
