Position Summary | A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Sujata Chaudhari within the Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The position will focus on studying tick vector biology, specifically investigating the role of tick physiology in bacterial pathogen survival, transmission and tick genetics. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in biological sciences, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, or cell biology, with relevant expertise in these areas. We are seeking a highly motivated, independent, and hypothesis-driven scientist. The successful applicant will be expected to lead experiments, train graduate students, participate in lab meetings, and contribute to other responsibilities aligned with their career goals.
