Position Summary	The Grounds Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and management of outdoor spaces across the UNMC and Nebraska Medicine campuses. The grounds supervisor manages a team of groundskeepers to ensure these spaces are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and safe while maintaining efficiency within a budget.

Ability to multi-task and function in a potentially high stress, fast paced environment. Ability to communicate with customers and provide information to meet their needs. Must have ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to evaluate and prioritize work requests and work assignments in relation to the changing demands of the campus environment. Must be able to effectively supervise skilled and trainee work force. Knowledge of landscaping and landscape maintenance. Ability to operate and maintain equipment.
