Position Summary | The Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking qualified candidates for a Research Instructor position. The research of our laboratory is focused on understanding the role of substances during HIV/SIV infection in nonhuman primate model using molecular biology, virology, immunology, systems biology, approaches. We are looking for self-motivated individual to work mainly in understanding HIV/SIV pathogenesis/cure/ substance abuse using non-human primate (NHP) models. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-driven, have a passion for research and a deep interest in contributing to existing programs, as well as to develop their own research program. Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for designing and conducting research studies related to ongoing NIH/Industry funded projects in the laboratory. Responsibilities include:
