Responsibilities - Automotive Technician:
- Perform thorough diagnostics and complex repairs on a wide range of vehicle systems, including engine performance, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
- Accurately identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and technical issues using manufacturer-approved diagnostic tools and repair procedures.
- Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and assessments, providing accurate estimates for repairs and necessary maintenance.
- Complete all repair work according to OEM and dealership quality standards, ensuring every vehicle is serviced correctly the first time.
- Stay current with manufacturer training and certifications to enhance technical skills and maintain expertise in modern automotive systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, properly handle dealership-owned tools, and follow all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
Qualifications - Automotive Technician:
- Must have at least 1 - 2 years of hands-on experience as an automotive service technician (this role is not for entry-level candidates performing only oil changes or tire rotations).
- Previous experience as an A or B Level Technician in a dealership or reputable repair shop is preferred.
- Ford Certified, ASE, or Master Technician Certification is a HUGE PLUS.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex repairs.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional service.
