Senior SharePoint Engineer

The Opportunity: Our client is seeking a Senior SharePoint Engineer / Systems Administrator to design, develop, and maintain secure collaboration solutions within Azure Government. This role plays a critical part in enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and ensuring compliance with stringent DoD security standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint administration, Power Platform tools, and enterprise collaboration technologies.

• Location: Dallas, TX
• Duration: 6-12 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI solutions in Azure Government.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement and optimize workflows using Power Automate, PowerApps, custom web parts, and system integrations.
• Ensure compliance with DoD security standards and best practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while maintaining system documentation and processes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to continuously improve the SharePoint environment.
• Manage SharePoint helpdesk tickets and provide user support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.
• Proficiency in Power Automate, PowerApps, PowerShell, and related tools.
• Knowledge of DoD security standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Teams administration.
• Experience with Power BI administration.
