The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a full-time Tavern Bartender to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Tavern Bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly while providing an excellent guest experience.

Hourly wage can average $29.10 / hr (base pay of $14.70 / hr + tips) with top performers earning much more!

What will you do?

• Receives drink orders, mixes and serves alcohol and non-alcohol drinks, wine and bottled beer or draught beer.
• Follows standard recipes using company proportions.
• Receives and processes POS and cash sales.
• Maintains inventory.
• Keeps bar area clean and properly stores equipment and stock.
• Other duties as assigned.

More about you

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of two years' front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• Experience in POS and cash handling.
• Ability to recognize intoxicated guests and serve responsibly.

Physical requirements

• Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift.
• Constant walking, bending, reaching, twisting bending and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Exposure to moderate to high environmental noise levels during busy times.
