Although we operate as a unified team, our Dynamo PEView team effectively has two practices:
- Licensing and related implementation & support services
- Dynamo PEView
- Dynamo Accounting
- Outsourced Accounting and Reporting Services
Role Overview: This position is within the licensing and implementation team and reports to the Director of Technology. This team installs, implements, configures and supports back-office accounting solutions including PEView and Dynamo Accounting. In addition to the 500 client end users, this team also supports the Outsourced Accounting and Reporting Services practice. In this role, the incumbent will support all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle in partnerships with Sales, Product, Administration and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent, white-glove-level customer service skills, a keen eye for operational efficiency and a positive energy to contribute to our fun and engaging team.
Your Responsibilities: - Client and colleague support
- Provide tier II client technical support including software installations, software upgrades, database installation, database/application configuration, administration training, troubleshooting technical issues, etc.
- Provide tier I client technical support including user maintenance via Active Directory and various client applications, changer execution on Dynamics GP databases, satisfy compliance requests, etc.
- Conduct mass uploads of data including backup and restore management
- Provide Internal and external helpdesk support as needed
- Operations
- Onboard/offboard new clients, users, employees
- Conduct project management for designated tech team related projects
- Identify and roll out operational solutions for initiatives including project tracking, communication, product solutions, version control
- Ensure team compliance with security initiatives including password security/changes and responding to colleague request for support.
- Enhance inventory of training materials to be used to support requests
- Development initiatives - Support project development life cycle management
- Confirm issues/opportunities, translate to development team, test proposed solutions and distribute/communicate solutions as needed.
- Migrate clients from client/server platform to web-based platform
- Reinforce, enhance and evolve information security protocol as needed
What you bring: - Minimum 5 years working with the back-end of relational databases
- Demonstrated SQL analytical skills
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or accounting field
- Minimum 4 years of customer service experience
- Effective project management experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Ability to explain technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to support users of all technical abilities
- Tendency towards leadership and creative solutions
