Systems Integration/Test Engineer

PlanIt Group is seeking an Electrical Integration Engineer-Grand Prairie, TX 75051 who will be supporting hardware and software integration for the Client-3 Missile. This is a contract to hire role. You must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.The candidate will be involved in the verification and validation for new test sets as well as actively involved in missile testing throughout the life of the product. The candidate must have knowledge of electrical engineering in the areas of digital, analog, radio frequency circuit designs or electronic components.
Candidate will participate in the following activities:
• Support Client-3 Missile Sustainment activities relative to the processing, testing and troubleshooting of the Client-3 missiles, including the dispositioning of Material Review Board (MRB) activity in the Quality documentation (QNOTE and SNOTE) non-conformance systems.
• Support Failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing.
• Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile
• Travel to and support flight test events.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or higher Electrical Engineering or Computer engineering
• Minimum of 6-8 years experience in Systems Integration
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with common lab equipment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Safety Shoes will be required for this position.
Desired Skills:
• ble to read wiring schematics and hardware drawings
• Familiar with uncommon lab equipment: milliohm meter, igniter tester, spectrum analyzers
• Foundational knowledge of troubleshooting analog and digital electronics
