Internal Medicine Physician

Join a dedicated team of healthcare providers as we support our nation s veterans! This position offers the opportunity to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments with flexible scheduling based on your availability. Our practices span multiple locations in beautiful Virginia, ensuring that you can serve veterans while managing your work-life balance.

• Perform one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Conduct primarily interview-based evaluations, with some physical assessment (such as range of motion and muscle strength testing).
• Complete required administrative tasks, including report submissions and medical opinions.
• Maintain a commitment to patient care, with no prescribing or treatment involved.
• Participate on a PRN basis, choosing to work either half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts.
• Utilize your own office for examinations in approved locations.

• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or a relevant background in General Medicine.
• Proficient in METs testing and respiratory/cardiovascular diagnostic evaluation.
• Must own a laptop (Apple products are not accepted).
• Capability to complete DMA training to achieve certification.
• Active and unrestricted medical license.

• Current medical license number and certification number.
• Proof of willingness to perform General Medicine evaluations.
• Current home address must be listed for presentations.
